Who?

AllenHaus is dedicated to serving U.S. military veterans in crisis—providing essential support, referrals to community services, and skills training in an agricultural setting—to help them achieve long-term stability.

Why Now?

·  More than 60% of veterans report financial stress after leaving the military.
·  About 1.5 million veterans live below the poverty line (U.S. Census).
·  Women veterans are the fastest-growing segment of homeless veterans
·  70% of homeless women veterans are single mothers.​

How?

Our knowledgeable team with extensive experience in veterans’ needs, community gardening, and
 human services organizations will cultivate and maintain an intentional community focused on growth, collaboration, and sustainability that offers:

Professional Development

Opportunities for professional and community leadership development that serve both AllenHaus and the surrounding area

Skills Training

Agricultural setting in which veterans can learn community gardening skills, produce farm products, work with service animals

Veterans Network

Relationships (planned) with existing veterans organizations and veteran farmers programs
